For over two decades, I have passionately devoted myself to the world of music as a collaborative artist, specializing in sonic innovation and sound engineering. My journey as a musician, sound designer, engineer, and composer has always been characterized by a relentless pursuit of pushing the boundaries of music and the sonic arts. My goal has always been to craft immersive and captivating experiences for all listeners.

Currently, I work as a specialized audio engineer, focusing on all facets of music production, mixing, and mastering. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to projects for renowned brands such as Wilson Sports, Adult Swim, Intel, Nike, Nokia, and Danner Boots. I’ve had the opportunity to produce, mix, and master records for esteemed labels including Sahel Sounds, Thrill Jockey, Infiné Records, Shouka, HOTLINE Recordings, Zam Zam Sounds, Research Records, and Mississippi Records.

In 2010, I established the globally recognized record label, Boomarm Nation. Under its banner, we released critically acclaimed records by exceptional artists like El Mahdy Jr, SEEKERSINTERNATIONAL, and Saint Abdullah. In my role as the label’s A&R, art director, mixer, and mastering engineer, I meticulously oversaw all aspects of the record-making process, resulting in the release of 18 vinyl records and numerous digital releases.

In 2017, I had the privilege of working closely with Mdou Moctar and his label at the time, Sahel Sounds, co-engineering and mixing the album “Sousoume Tamacheck.” This album received accolades from renowned publications such as The New York Times and The New Yorker Magazine, ranking as one of the best albums of that year.

My work with Boomarm Nation garnered significant recognition and was sponsored by Carhartt Work In Progress, leading to an endorsement by the brand in 2018. In 2019, I had the pleasure of collaborating with El Mahdy Jr. and Adult Swim for the Adult Swim singles series.

Since 2007, I have consistently released my own beat-driven experimental electronic music under the pseudonym “Gulls,” contributing to various vocalists, emcees, and international labels.
